Pricing

  • Adult day pass tickets: $15 (at the gate) or online (+ booking fees)
  • Adult weekend pass tickets: $25 (at the gate) or $20 online (+ booking fees)
  • Student Pass (12-18 yrs): $5 per day
  • Children (under 12): Free

FAQ's

Can I get a refund if I can no longer attend?

Refunds are provided if the event is cancelled. Please read ticket purchase Terms and Conditions carefully.

If the event is cancelled how do I get a refund?

The event is an all weather event and will take place rain, hail or shine unless required to cease by emergency response authorities. Please refer to event ticket purchase Terms and Conditions here regarding refunds.

How much is a streaming subscription?

Please check with your local provider.

A NEXTGEN streaming subscription in New Zealand is $NZ9.95 + GST for the weekend or in equivalent country currency. 

Why do I have to pay for both SkyTV and a streaming subscription to watch the games?

SkyTV NZ will produce and broadcast Field 1 matches for the GYS. For Fields 2,3 and 4 – GYS will produce and broadcast ourselves, via our own new streaming service.

How do I get to the venue?

For Auckland:

King’s College, Golf Avenue, Ōtāhuhu

For Gold Coast:

Bond University, 14 University Dr, Robina

Where is the best place for public to park?

 Ticket Holders

  • Main public car park is Sturges Park, Ōtāhuhu ( Shuttles leaving every 5 mins)
  • Parking along Golf Avenue or surrounding streets.

Is public transport available to get to the games?

Check Auckland Transport for bus and train times and schedules.

There is a train station right next to King’s college Gate B entrance.

Note: There is NO free public transport with ticket purchase to this event.

Is the venue smoke free and / or vape free?

Yes, King’s College is both smoking and vaping free. People found to be smoking or vaping within the venue will be asked to stop, and if they do not, will be asked to leave the venue. Please refer to the ticket purchase Terms and Conditions of entry.

Can I bring my own alcohol to the event?

No, the Global Youth Sevens is fully licensed and does not allow alcohol to be brought into the event.
