Any reference to “you” or “your” refers to any person that uses our websites, participates in the Global Youth Sevens Tournaments (the “Events”), including as a player, coach, manager or any other person involved in the Events, or otherwise supplies us with personal information.   4. the name and contact details of your emergency contacts;
  5. the club or school you are representing as a participant in the Events; and
  6. aggregate and anonymised data, such as the country you are accessing the Website from.
  7. Where you have provided personal information about a third party, you confirm that you have the authority and consent of that third party to provide us with their personal information.

 

How do we collect your personal information?

  1. Except as otherwise permitted by law, we may collect your personal information directly or indirectly: when you register as a participant in the Events;
  2. where you have contacted us through our websites;
  3. where you have interacted with us at the Events;
  4. from third parties where we reasonably believe you have authorised this, or where we reasonably believe the information is publicly available; and
  5. anonymously through the use of Cookies and web tracking on our website.
  6. If you choose not to provide the personal information we require, you may not be able to participate in the Events or acquire full access to our websites.

 

How will we use your personal information?

    1. We will only use and disclose your personal information for the purposes set out in this privacy policy, which includes: to assess your application and/or register your participation in the Events;
    2. facilitating and running the Events, including publishing results and providing you with information about the Events;
    3. promoting and marketing the Events;
    4. contacting your emergency contacts if there is an emergency at the Events;
    5. providing your information to our commercial partners and/or the sponsors of the Events for their own marketing and advertising purposes;
    6. to facilitate the purchase of tickets to the Events;
    7. with your consent, sending you electronic messages to market our products or services to you;
    8. with your consent, publishing photos or videos of you at the Events on the website and/or publishing your name on our Honours Board on the website;
    9. to respond to communications from you, including managing disputes or complaints;
    10. subject to the process of anonymising and aggregating the information, for research and statistical analysis;
    11. to comply with our internal operational requirements and processes, and undertake administrative functions associated with our operations; and
    12. for any other purpose authorised by you or permitted under applicable law.

    1. We may disclose your personal information to: other participants in the Events where required for the purposes of facilitating and running the Events;
    2. our commercial partners and/or the sponsors of the Events for the purposes of their own marketing and advertising;
    3. any service providers we have engaged to provide services to us in relation to our websites and the Events. For example, we may utilise third parties to provide us with customer support, marketing, payment gateways, and IT services;
    4. our professional advisors, including lawyers, accountants and insurers;
