- Introduction
- Global Youth Sevens (the “Website”) is owned and operated by Next Generation Sport Limited (“we”, “us”, “our”). Your use of the Website is governed by these terms and conditions and our privacy policy, which can be found at [insert link]. By accessing and/or using the Website you confirm that you have read, understood and agreed with these terms and conditions and our privacy policy. If you do not agree with any of the terms and conditions or the privacy policy, you must cease using the Website immediately.
- Changes to these terms
- We may make changes to these terms and conditions from time to time and will notify you of these changes by posting an updated version on the Website. If the change is likely to have a significant impact on your use of the Website, we will give reasonable notice of the change by posting a notice on the Website describing the changes and when they will take effect. If you do not agree with the proposed changes, you must cease using the Website immediately. Your continued use of the Website after the updated terms and conditions take effect will be taken as your acceptance of the updated terms and conditions.
- Your use of the Website
- You must not use this Website for any purpose that is unlawful, and you agree not to engage in any activity that will or is likely to:
- cause a detrimental impact on the Global Youth Sevens event;
- damage the operation of this Website, including by way of the introduction of a corrupted file or virus; or
- be adverse to the reputation or interests of Next Generation Sport Limited.
- You also agree not to modify, alter, copy or otherwise transfer the content of the Website other than in accordance with clause 6. We may impose limits on certain features or restrict access to any parts or all of the Website, without giving notice.
- Participation and Tickets
- The Website provides information for the Global Youth Sevens events held in New Zealand and Australia annually (the “Events”). Participation in the Events is governed by separate terms and conditions which are made available to participating teams at the time of registration.
- The Website enables you to purchase tickets for the Events through our third party provider, Flicket. By purchasing a ticket through our Website, you authorise us or our nominated third party payment provider, Windcave, to charge your credit or debit card, or bank account using the details provided by you. Each ticket purchased through the Website is subject to the individual ticket terms and conditions, which can be found here.
- Live Streaming
- The Website enables you to view a live video stream of the Events via an embedded link that redirects users to our third party streaming provider, Endeavor Streaming (the “Live Stream”). We do not control or claim any responsibility for any of the content on the Live Stream, or make any warranties regarding its accuracy or completeness. We do not create the Live Stream and therefore to the fullest extent permitted by law are not responsible for it. There may be links to the Endeavor Streaming website through our Website and you are responsible for deciding whether to visit such third party website. We take no responsibility for any content on the Endeavor Streaming platform or any other third party websites. Any use by you of a third party website shall be governed by the website provider’s terms and conditions and applicable privacy policy.
- Endeavor Streaming may run advertisements and promotions on the Endeavor Streaming platform, including without limitation on behalf of third parties. Your correspondence or business dealings with, or participation in promotions of, advertisers or companies other than Endeavor Streaming found on or through the Endeavor Streaming platform, including payment and delivery of related goods or services, and any other terms, conditions, warranties or representations associated with such dealings, are solely between you and such advertiser or company. Endeavor Streaming is not responsible or liable for any loss or damage of any sort incurred as the result of any such dealings or as the result of the presence of advertisements or promotions on the Endeavor Streaming platform.
- Intellectual Property
- All intellectual property contained on the Website, including but not limited to any trade marks, logos, graphics, copyrights and/or any other intellectual property rights are the sole property of Next Generation Sports Limited (“Intellectual Property”). You must not use or reproduce or allow anyone else to use or reproduce the Intellectual Property for any reason without our prior written consent. Any material or content displayed on the Website is protected by copyright in New Zealand and internationally. You warrant that you will not commercialise any information obtained from the Website in any way without our consent.
- We grant you a limited, non-exclusive licence to use, communicate, copy, download or print extracts of content from the Website solely in the following ways:
- where photographs of the Events are made publicly available in the Gallery page of the Website for your own personal non-commercial purposes;
- for the purposes of gathering information to attend or participate in the Events;
- for non-commercial research or private use;
- You must not remove, cover, overlap, change or obscure any copyright notices or terms and conditions that are posted on the Website as part of the content.
- Contact and Feedback
- The Website provides the functionality for you to contact us if you have any questions or concerns. You warrant that if you contact us using the Website functionality, that the information you provide is accurate and up to date. All information provided by you to us is at your own risk. Any personal information that you provide shall be used only for the purpose of answering your question or concern, and shall be used in accordance with our privacy policy.
- If you use the contact functionality to provide us with feedback about the Website, we may use that feedback to improve the Website and you agree that we do not need to pay you any compensation if we action your feedback. You also agree that any ideas you provide are non-confidential and we do not need to acknowledge their source.
- Availability
- We will take reasonable steps to ensure the Website remains online and available at all times. However, we do not warrant that the Website will be error free, without interruption or delay, or free from defects in design. We will not be liable to you or any third party in the event the Website is unavailable, restricted, removed, amended or delayed for any reason.

While we will use reasonable endeavours to protect the security of all users of the Website, we do not guarantee that the Website will be free of viruses, trojans, worms or other malicious code. We do not expressly endorse or agree with any views expressed or actions taken by any third party featured on the Website. We disclaim any liability for any third party content published on the Website, including as part of the Live Stream.
- Without limiting or restricting any rights you may have under the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act 1993, to the maximum extent permitted by law, the Website is provided on an ‘as is’ basis without any warranties, representations or guarantees of any kind.
- Liability
- Without limiting clause 10, we are not liable to you for any loss, cost, expense or damage incurred or arising as a result of your access to, reliance on, or use of the Website, whether such loss is indirect, direct, special or consequential.
- Notwithstanding anything else in these terms and conditions, our total liability to you for any damages or losses that you incur in connection with or arising out of the Website, or the acts or omissions of Next Generation Sports Limited, is limited to the amount of NZD$100.
- Severability
- If any provision of these terms and conditions is held to be unenforceable, invalid or illegal for any reason, whether completely or partially, that provision (or part) will be severed from the remaining terms and conditions, which will continue in force.
- Governing Law
- The Website, these terms and conditions, and our privacy policy shall be read in accordance with the laws of New Zealand. The courts of New Zealand shall have the exclusive jurisdiction to hear and determine any dispute arising in relation to these terms and conditions.
